The infrastructure of the Experimental Station is as follows:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span style=\"color: #000000\">long-term fertilization experiments,<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000\">facility with a\u00a0laboratory<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000\">facility with a\u00a0conference hall<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000\">facility with a\u00a0Historical Room of Agricultural Experimentation<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000\">facility with experimental pots<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000\">vegetation hall<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000\">weather station established in 1921<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000\">machinery park<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The long-term fertilization experiments in Skierniewice were established in 1921 on Luvisols. These experiments are the oldest existing experiments in Poland, 5<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0in Europe and 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0in the world. The first experiments in Chylice were<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000\">organized in the 1920s by Prof. J\u00f3zef Miku\u0142owski-Pomorski. Since 1951, at the initiative of Prof. <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">Mieczys\u0142aw Birecki, experiments of crops cultivation methods and soil fertility improvement were<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000\">established. In the following decades, various units at Warsaw University of Life Sciences<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">conducted a lot of experiments related to plant varieties and cultuviation, fertilization and meadow<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000\">management. For many years, the Department of Agronomy has provided scientific and<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">substantive supervision of the field experiments.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000\">Three long-term field experiments are being conducted in Chylice: Z-3\/55 and Z-4\/55 (since 1955) <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">with different fertilization (NPK, \u00bd NPK + \u00bd manure, manure, and no fertilization) in two crop rotations,<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000\">and U-6\/75 (since 1975), comparing direct sowing, plough cultivation, and, since 2011, ploughless <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">cultivation with a stubble cultivator. Its location on black soils means that Chylice complements the<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000\">research base of fields in Skierniewice and Miedniewice, located on brown and loamy soils.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1c16380 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"1c16380\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-911f81b elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"911f81b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1106f77 elementor-widget elementor-widget-w1_2_3\" data-id=\"1106f77\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"w1_2_3.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<section>\n                    <div class=\"mn-grid\">\n                        <h3  class=\"mn-grid-12 mn-section-title2\">\n                            Miedniewice\n                        <\/h3>\n                    <\/div>\n                <\/section>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e7d1179 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e7d1179\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The experimental field in Miedniewice was established in 2010 for the scientific and teaching <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">needs of the Department of Agronomy. The facility covers an area of 8.2 hectares and comprises<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000\">11 fields, each with an area of 0.6 hectares. These fields are used to grow crops in a three-field <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">crop rotation system representing different farming systems: conventional intensive (winter<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000\">rapeseed \u2192 winter wheat \u2192 spring barley), conventional integrated (sugar beet \u2192 spring wheat<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">\u2192 narrow-leaved lupin \u2192 winter wheat) and organic. The field in Miedniewice also includes<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000\">permanent grassland (TUZ) maintained in a conventional system. Since 2011, a permanent <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">experiment with tillage systems (traditional ploughing, ploughless stubble cultivation and strip-till)<\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000\">has been conducted on a separate part of the fields in the conventional system (intensive and <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000\">integrated).
